If you use such products for a long time, you can get serious side effects like thinning of the skin, increased photo-sensitivity, Dry and dull skin, early wrinkles, uneven skin tone and also skin cancer.

Lemon Juice is one of the most popular remedies used to remove spots from skin. Lemon juice is acidic in nature, contains many vitamins, and works as a natural skin cleanser. The acidic nature of lemon juice makes a perfect killer of infectious microbes.
Simply squeeze the juice of a lemon in a bowl. Now take a cotton ball and dab it in the juice. Apply the juice on your dark spots using the cotton ball and leave it for 10 minutes. Then rinse it off with cold water. Repeat this twice a day for 8-10 days.
Note: If you have sensitive skin or feel tingling sensations while using pure lemon juice on skin, clean it immediately. Use water or Rose water to dilute lemon juice and then use it.
Tomatoes are a rich source of vitamin E, K and C. Tomatoes contain lycopene. These vitamins nourish our skin and prevent early signs of aging such as freckles, and wrinkles. Lycopene is a protein that repair damaged skin. Acids present in tomato gently bleaches the skin and removes dark spots gradually.
To use tomatoes, cut a slice from a tomato and rub the pulpy side of the slide on your skin. Keep rubbing for 3-4 minutes and then leave skin dampened in tomato juice for 10 minutes. After this rinse the treated area with cold water.
Repeat this once a day for 15 days.
