Coffee Scrub to Get Rid of Cellulite
The coffee scrub is very effective in reducing the cellulite. It contains antioxidants and caffeine that decrease the appearance of cellulite in short term. Coffee scrub massage helps to increase the blood flow and tightens the skin.
- Mix ¼ cup of ground coffee, 2 tsp of olive oil, 3 tsp of hot water and make a paste. Apply it in the affected area and massage for 2-3 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water and then moisturize if required.
- Mix ¼ cup of coffee ground, 3 tsp of sugar/brown sugar, 2-3 tsp of melted coconut oil and make a paste. Massage with it over the affected area of skin for few minutes and wash it off with normal water. Apply it twice or thrice weekly.
Coconut oil has so many health benefits and it can be used in many ways for removal of cellulite. It also has capable fat burning properties.
- Consume 1-2 tsp of coconut oil twice or thrice daily. It can also be used for cooking or it can also be mixed with beverages and foods.
- Massage with coconut oil to the affected parts of the body daily. It is a natural moisturizer and makes the skin soft and smooth. It easily gets absorbed by the skin and breaks the fatty deposit in cells.
- Mix coconut oil with essential oils (citrus/lavender oils) and apply it to the affected area of the skin. It helps to remove excess fat stored in the skin layers and work wonders for the skin.
Green tea contains powerful antioxidants (Catechins) which help to remove toxins from the body and helps to reduce symptoms of cellulite. It also prevents free radical damage and helps to burn body fat including cellulite fat. For best results drink about 2-3 cups of green tea every day.
For the treatment of cellulite so many methods are available, but not a single one is effective or permanent. Few temporary treatment methods include:
Massage therapy: It is believed that massage therapy will increase blood flow, remove toxins and reduce excess fluid from cellulite-prone areas. Usually, massage therapies make your skin look better for a short period of time, but it is not the permanent solution of the problem.
Topical Creams: Variety of creams are available in the market to reduce cellulite. Cryolipolysis: It is also known as cool sculpting. It is a noninvasive procedure that removes cellulite by freezing and killing fat cells. Removal of fat cells helps to improve the cellulite symptoms. It requires several treatments and results can be seen in 3-4 months.
Mesotherapy: It is a procedure of injecting the solution into the fat layer below the skin. This solution is injected to make cellulite less effective and may include vitamins, minerals, hormones, herbal extracts, aminophylline, etc. Though this procedure is not recommended as it has few side effects such as rash, infection, swelling, etc.
Carboxy Therapy: It is a procedure in which carbon dioxide is being inserted under the skin. It may reduce the appearance of cellulite by increasing the blood flow to affected area. It has few side effects such as temporary bruising, discomfort, etc.
Cellulite is a very common condition but could be embarrassing sometimes.
